Flamenca Beach Commercial Centre

Flamenca Beach Commercial Centre is one of the liveliest entertainment complexes in Orihuela Costa. Due to its close proximity to the beach, it's one of those places were holidaymakers return to year after year. With its great selection of shops, bars and restaurants it is also a firm favourite with Orihuela Costa's large expat communities. As the centre backs onto the inland side of the N-332, visitors coming from the beach need to cross at the roundabout or bridge.

The centre is built over three levels, the upper two making the best of the lovely sea views. There is wheelchair access to all levels. Running along the road level at the front is several estate agents taking advantage of the passing trade. There is also an ice cream parlour, charity shop and two handy general stores. These are Penny's and Macy's. Both sell everyday local goods as well as a selection of British favourites. Macy's also sells cigarettes and tobacco. Other shops include a florist, hairdressers and a popular mobile phone shop that also does repairs.

Bars & Restaurants

British and Irish visitors are well catered for at Flamenca Beach Commercial Centre. Good old fish & chips can be found at King Kod and Spud Murphys. Cornish Pride Cafe does a great choice of pies and other snacks to eat in or take away. There are three kebab shops also serving pizza and burgers. Wonderful curries are available from Shakira and Diva Indian Restaurants. Themed bars include Rosie O'Grady's, The Celtic Drop, Lansdowne and Rose & Crown.

Probably the most popular bar at Flamenca Beach Commercial Centre is Legends. Live music, themed parties, karaoke and DJ's keep the party crowds coming back year after year. What makes them even more legendary is their generous portions of great value Sunday roast. The Sports bar is another firm family favourite with karaoke, bingo, bar games and quizzes. Most of the bars at the centre feature large screen TV's with the latest sports, and outdoor terraces.

Other popular restaurants include the Papaya Tree Thai Restaurant, The Cellar Door, Mariata's Kitchen, Goodfellas Steakhouse and Quattro Staglione. Meat lovers with a large appetite should not miss a visit to the Chimi Churi Argentinian Restaurant. This is a great value all you can eat establishment specialising in a good selection of huge grilled meat skewers.

Mosca Centre

Right next door is the Mosca Centre. This is not a big place but worth a mention for a few reasons. On the lower level is a Supercor Supermarket, two ATM's and a currency exchange. The upper level is home to Sunrise Bar & Restaurant. Sunrise is a chain of about 6 bars including two beach bars in Punta Prima. What makes these bars so popular is their crazy price strong Estrella lager at 1.60€ a pint. On the rooftop of the centre is a mini golf course. Next door to Mosca Centre is the very popular Rocky's Arena Pub and a Burger King.

Filton Centre

The Filton Centre boasts a lively collection of bars and restaurants located in the residential area of Los Balcones. Thought of by most as part of the Orihuela Costa, Los Balcones is actually a satellite suburb of neighbouring Torrevieja.
