Go Karting

Go Karting is a popular family holiday activity, and the residential area of Punta Prima boasts the finest go kart track on the Orihuela Costa. With both coastal and inland residential areas, superb golf courses, natural parks and lakes, there are many exciting activities in the area for all age groups. Of course, with its fantastic Blue Flag beaches water sports and activities are popular in Orihuela Costa. But for adrenaline fulled fun, head for the go karting track.

Go Karting In Orihuela Costa

Located alongside the N-332 between Carrefour and Aldi supermarkets, Go-Karts Orihuela Costa provides thrills, and hopefully not spills! Here visitors can enjoy two challenging tracks. The smaller track is for children and those wishing to gain confidence before trying the big one. It boasts tight bends and fast straights and offers tyre crash barriers on both sides.

The larger track has a similar configuration but with longer, faster straights and more bends. There is also a large digital display similar to the ones used in professional Grand Prix. This allows visiting groups such as birthday parties and stag & hen do's to arrange real races. The screen enables drivers to check their track position and lap times so they can hopefully improve as the race goes on. If you are not a large group the staff may let you join a race.

Go Karting Equipment

Track officials, monitors and pit crew are on hand to get you kitted up and above all make sure you have a fun filled and safe day. The large complex also has a dedicated area and all the equipment for paintball. This lasts about 1 hour 30 minutes and extra paint balls are available.

Adult Karts – Adults and teens of a certain age can choose to drive fast 270cc karts or super fast 400cc karts. These have side buffers to protect the karts and some have roll bars.

Cadet & Kids Karts – These all have buffer protection and roll bars but smaller engines. This makes it possible for the younger ones to still enjoy a thrilling race but stay in control.

Double Karts – This is a very clever idea that uses two seats, two sets of controls and two steering wheels. The concept allows young ones or those without confidence to experience karting with an adult at their side. If it looks like a crash is imminent, the adult can take over.

Mini Quads – These are great fun for the younger children to use on the smaller track. They have easy twist and go controls and side protection buffers.

Go Karting Facilities

It's possible to enjoy an entire go karting day, birthday or corporate event at Go-Karts Orihuela Costa. They have a children's adventure play park with a ball pit, bouncy castle, bouncy slide and a small swimming pool with cute little boats. There is an on-site bar & restaurant with ample indoor seating and terrace seating to watch the races. The restaurant offers a choice of snacks, a la carte meals and daily set menus. Visitors also have access to a small internet cafe.

Cycling

Cycling in Orihuela Costa is a popular leisure and professional activity. Driving on the ‘wrong' side of the road can be a daunting experience for some visitors. Cycling however allows you to go at your own pace.
